A Families That Care® Program

The Supporting School Success® program is the only academic success program based on the prestigious Seattle Social Development Project (SSDP). The program is designed for parents who want to help their children get the best start in their first four years of school!

(formerly known as the Preparing For School Success program)

The Supporting School Success program is a research-based parent involvement program for parents of children in grades K-3.

Parents in the Supporting School Success program learn how to support their child's academic achievement, improve communication at home, and reduce misbehavior.

  • It's Title I eligible -- The Supporting School Success program can help you meet the parent involvement requirements of the No Child Left Behind Act, including the stipulation that schools offer "programs to strengthen the school/family partnership by providing materials and education for parents."
  • It's easy to implement -- Each Workshop Leader's Package contains all the materials needed to get the program up and running, including step-by-step instructions on everything from recruiting parents to conducting the workshops.
