Prevention Science Research
One of the hallmarks of our prevention science programs is that they are grounded on rigorous research from a variety of disciplines. The primary areas of research that form the foundation are:
- a comprehensive, community-wide approach
- demonstrated predictors of problem behaviors and positive youth outcomes -- what are more commonly referred to as risk and protective factors
- tested, effective programs, policies, and practices.
The following is a select bibliography of reference materials for Channing Bete Company's prevention science programs.
