Bullying Prevention For Grades K-3 (99805)R
For presenting to early-elementary school children (ages 5-8)
"Keep out" isn't a fun or a fair game, but many early-elementary school students don't know this when they walk into school, and they don't know that they should tell a trusted adult when someone hurts them physically or emotionally. This presentation helps them learn that bullying can be both scary and sad for everyone, and that bullies can be stopped.
Designed specifically for a younger audience, this presentation comes in two 20-minute sections that can be presented together or on different days. Through engaging stories and activities, students learn how bullying can hurt their bodies and their feelings, and the difference between being hurt by accident and on purpose. They learn that no one deserves to be bullied -- especially if they are different. Most importantly, they learn how they can help stop bullying in school, on the bus, and at home.
This presentation will let you quickly and easily educate students on:
- the different types of bullying
- how bullying affects everyone
- why it is important to show respect for everyone
- appropriate responses to bullying.
Package also includes 50 copies of the workbook "Know What?(R) Bullying Hurts!" (98602)B.
