Sweepstakes Official Rules

1. To Enter: No purchase required. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.
Go to www.channing-bete.com/creq/jsp/forms/eclub/eclub_reg_form.jsp and sign up for the eClub by completing and submitting the registration form or by placing an online order anytime between January 1, 2008, and December 31, 2008. Anyone placing an order through www.channing-bete.com or http://pcaamerica.channing-bete.com during the promotion period is automatically registered for the eClub. You will earn an automatic entry into all subsequent sweepstakes quarterly drawings upon placing a Web order for any Channing Bete Company core products or Prevent Child Abuse America publications anytime during the promotional period at www.channing-bete.com or http://pcaamerica.channing-bete.com. Only orders placed via www.channing-bete.com or http://pcaamerica.channing-bete.com will qualify for sweepstakes entry (orders placed through http://aha.channing-bete.com or www.faithguides.com are not eligible). To enter without making a purchase, send a standard-size postcard with your full name, title, company name and address, daytime phone number, e-mail address, and prize level for which you'd like to be entered to: Channing Bete Company eClub Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 544, Marblehead, MA 01945. Limit one entry per prize level per person. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by the deadline for each quarter (3/31/08, 6/30/08, 9/30/08, and 12/31/08) and received within one week of each deadline to be eligible for drawing. All orders must be placed and received by 11:59 PM ET December 31, 2008, to qualify for sweepstakes entry.

2. Drawings: Winners will be selected in each of four quarters from two separate entry pools, determined by each entrant's total qualified purchases made during the quarter, plus any applicable rolled-over purchases. Entry pools and corresponding prize levels for each quarterly drawing are as follows:

Quarterly entry deadlines are 11:59 PM ET on March 31, 2008, June 30, 2008, September 30, 2008, and December 31, 2008. Drawings will be conducted about two weeks after each deadline, by PROMOSIS, Inc., an independent judging organization, whose decisions in all matters relating to this sweepstakes are final. Potential winners will be notified by Channing Bete Company via 2-day courier, and will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility or winner verification form and publicity release that must be notarized and returned within 14 days of the date mailed to the potential winner, or an alternate winner may be selected. No more than one (1) prize awarded per entrant per drawing. All prizes guaranteed to be awarded. No substitution or transfer of prizes allowed. Odds of winning are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received by the deadline for each prize drawing.

3. Quarterly Prizes: Three (3) First Prizes: $250 awarded as Channing Bete Company gift certificates. Retail value of each First Prize is $250. Two (2) Grand Prizes: $500 awarded as Channing Bete Company gift certificates. Retail value of each Grand Prize is $500. Total value of all prizes offered is $7,000. In no event will the Sponsor be obligated to award more than the stated number of prizes. Prizes will be awarded to the winner's company, which will be responsible for all taxes on the value of the prize. Gift certificate prizes can be used toward future purchases of Channing Bete Company materials only, and cannot be used to pay invoices. By accepting a prize on behalf of his/her company, winner agrees to the release of his or her name and/or likeness for potential publicity purposes, where permitted by law.

4. Eligibility: Sweepstakes is open only to legal U.S. residents, 18 years of age or older at time of entry, who are professionals responsible for the purchase of educational materials. Employees of Channing Bete Company, its affiliates, advertising and production agencies, and PROMOSIS, Inc., and their immediate families (spouses, parents, children, and siblings, and their spouses) and individuals living in the same household of such employees are ineligible. Entrants agree to the release of their name, address, and e-mail information for winner notification purposes and for public winner disclosure as required by law, only. All other aspects of the Channing Bete Company privacy policy are in effect. Void where prohibited by law or regulation. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

5. Limitation of Liability: Sponsor and its promotion partners are not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any promotion-related materials; for late, lost, stolen, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or postage-due mail or entries; for orders that are processed late or incorrectly or are lost due to telephone, computer, or electronic malfunction; or for telephone, computer, Internet, or electronic malfunction that may interfere with any participant's ability to enter the sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify sweepstakes if fraud or technical failures compromise the integrity of sweepstakes as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Entrants agree that the Sponsor, its promotion partners, related companies, agencies, respective employees, or officers shall not be liable for injury, losses, damages, or costs of any kind resulting from participation in this sweepstakes or acceptance of or use or misuse of a prize or parts thereof. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these official rules.

6. List Removal: To remove your name from future Channing Bete Company sweepstakes mailings, please call 1-800-628-7733 or send your request to: Channing Bete Company, Inc., Attn: Removal Requests, One Community Place, South Deerfield, MA 01373-0200. Please allow 45 days for your request to be processed.

7. Winners List: For a list of winners (available until March 31, 2009), send a standard-size postcard, only, with your return address to: Channing Bete Company eClub Sweepstakes Winners List, One Community Place, South Deerfield, MA 01373.
